Shares of NVIDIA, the chipmaking behemoth and a favorite among the "Magnificent Seven" tech stocks, initially rose at Monday's market open before declining by 0.5%. The stock is currently trading with a slight gain of 0.1%.
The company's current trading price has fallen to levels not seen since mid-July and has entered bear market territory, as it has dropped more than 21% from its intraday all-time high recorded on October 29. Since closing at its historical peak that day, the stock has declined by slightly over 19%.
