Li Xiang Reflects on L9's Journey from Skepticism to Leadership in the SUV Market

During the launch event for the all-new Li L9, Li Xiang, CEO of Li Auto, delivered a speech reflecting on the vehicle's four-year evolution from initial skepticism to industry leadership. He noted that the first-generation L9 faced significant criticism but also became widely emulated, remarking that some competitors cautiously follow Li Auto's path, while others directly trail behind.

Li Xiang highlighted that features such as refrigerators, large screens, and sofas, once pioneered by Li Auto, have now become standard across the industry. The first-generation L9 established the premium full-size SUV segment priced above 400,000 yuan, driving the L series to achieve over 1.3 million units in sales and generating revenue of 400 billion yuan.

He concluded by stating, "One person's rebellion is just rebellion; the rebellion of 1.7 million families signifies true transformation."
