The 18th Xuanyuan Automotive Bluebook Forum, themed "Turning Point," was held in Guangzhou from May 15 to 17. Regarding the timeline for mass deployment of Robotaxis, WeRide Inc. founder and CEO Han Xu stated it is expected within one to two years.

However, Han Xu also candidly admitted he did not wish to deliberately avoid or conceal certain issues. He pointed out that the incident involving "the mass paralysis of Baidu's autonomous vehicles" has impacted the development of the entire industry, stating it "has at least slowed things down."

Taking this opportunity, Han Xu called for caution, saying, "For China's autonomous driving industry to develop, we must be careful to avoid a situation where 'if one person gets sick, the whole class has to take medicine'—where the entire industry suffers due to an isolated incident."
