Alibaba Cloud Unveils "Zhenwu M890" AI Chip and ICN Switch, Declares Full-Stack Readiness

At the 2026 Alibaba Cloud Summit held today, Liu Weiguang, Senior Vice President of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Group and President of the Public Cloud Business Unit, announced the official launch of the T-Head "Zhenwu M890" AI chip, which integrates training and inference, along with the ICN Switch interconnect chip. The chip is already deployed in Alibaba Cloud's Panjiu AL128 node servers.

"We are entering the Agentic era, and Alibaba Cloud is fully stack-ready," he stated. According to his introduction, Alibaba Cloud has fully integrated the stack from the underlying chips and models to Agentic Cloud, model services, and Agentic applications, empowering AI transformation across all industries.

"We are in the Agentic era. Today's Agentic AI has evolved from merely completing business processes to 'delivering outcomes,' generating 'outputs that were previously impossible,'" Liu Weiguang remarked.
