Alibaba Cloud has launched Qwen Cloud, introducing a new service model specifically designed for AI Agents. The platform is positioned as a cloud-based intelligent infrastructure built to be "Agent-Friendly," aiming to provide a robust environment for AI agent development and operation.
Qwen Cloud is developed with an Agent-Friendly design philosophy. It encapsulates capabilities such as model selection, invocation, and usage querying into "Skills"—modular components that are understandable and callable by AI agents. The service also offers a stable, repeatable, and automatable CLI (Command Line Interface) entry point for both developers and agent users, enabling flexible model calls by both humans and agents.
In terms of model ecosystem, Qwen Cloud has already listed over 150 model series, encompassing more than 480 different models. These cover mainstream models from both domestic and international sources. The platform supports synchronous comparison of multiple models, assisting developers in quickly experiencing, evaluating, and selecting the most suitable options.
For usage management, Qwen Cloud provides an intelligent and transparent management mechanism. Agents can pull real-time model usage data to analyze trends, identify anomalies, and assist in cost optimization. Simultaneously, users can retrieve logs, Key activity data, and other information via the CLI to facilitate anomaly detection and task traceability.
Furthermore, Qwen Cloud has introduced a Token plan subscription model. This flexible billing method supports multiple models and offers controllable monthly fees. The subscription is currently available, providing cost-effective services for high-frequency AI programming and Agent tool usage scenarios.
