Astrazeneca shares rose over 3% in premarket trading as it said Friday that its drug tozorakimab met its primary endpoint in two phase 3 trials in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Optical communications shares jumped in premarket trading. Lumentum, Applied Optoelectronics up around 2%.
