美国劳工部周四公布的数据显示，美国截至1月21日当周初请失业金人数再次意外下降至18.6万，为2022年4月23日当周以来新低，较上周修正后的19.2万下降了6000，预期为20.5万。
另外，截至1月14日当周，续请失业金人数为167.5万，预期为165.9万，前值为166.5万(经修正)。初请失业金人数四周均值降至19.75万，较前一周修正平均值20.675万减少9250。
机构对此评论称，这是去年4月以来的最低水平。失业工人发现，找一份新工作比申请政府福利要容易得多。这在一定程度上说明，在一个物价和工资都在上涨的世界里，政府救济金发放速度停滞不前。
