IT之家 10 月 23 日消息，今天早些时候，IT之家报道了 Arm 拟取消允许长期合作伙伴高通使用 Arm 知识产权设计芯片许可的消息。
据界面新闻、路透社消息，目前当事双方均已就此事作出回应。

高通发言人：
这是 Arm 的一贯做法 —— 更多毫无根据的威胁，旨在强行压迫长期合作伙伴，干扰我们性能领先的 CPU 产品，并无视双方架构许可协议已经涵盖的广泛权利来提高许可费率。在 12 月即将到来的法庭审理之前，Arm 采取这种出于绝望的伎俩，似乎是试图干扰法律程序，其终止许可协议的诉求毫无依据。我们有信心，高通与 Arm 协议中涵盖的权利将得到法院的确认。Arm 的反竞争行为将不会被容忍。
从 2022 年起，Arm 就已开始起诉高通违反合同和商标侵权，Arm 的这项许可允许高通基于 Arm 拥有的标准设计自己的芯片。高通每年销售数亿个处理器，其技术被用于多数安卓智能手机。
Arm 提前 60 天通知高通要取消架构许可协议，这项许可允许高通基于 Arm 拥有的标准设计自己的芯片。这场纠纷可能扰乱（roil）智能手机和 PC 市场，并对这两家半导体行业巨头的财务和运营造成冲击。
