US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-Futures drop further after Trump recommends steep tariffs on European Union
May 23 (Reuters) - U.S. stock index futures moved sharply lower on Friday after U.S. President Donald Trump recommended steep 50% tariffs on the European Union, starting June 1.
At 07:49 a.m. ET, Dow E-minis YMcv1 were down 505 points, or 1.2%, S&P 500 E-minis EScv1 were down 73.5 points, or 1.25%, and Nasdaq 100 E-minis NQcv1 were down 308.75 points, or 1.46%.
