1105 GMT - Flutter Entertainment shares fall 8% after U.S. peer DraftKings announced fourth-quarter earnings below analysts' expectations after U.S. market close Thursday. London-listed Flutter's forecast for 2026 revenue was also disappointing, Davy Research's Paul Ruddy says in a note. The betting group's management focused on its expansion into prediction markets, an area some analysts say will challenge traditional betting. The U.S. is Flutter's largest market, so a slowdown there would have an especially big impact on the company. Friday's early losses extend a rocky start to 2026, with the company's share price down 40% for the year at Thursday's close. Fellow U.K. gambling group Entain drops 2%. Meanwhile, DraftKings falls 14.7% premarket in the U.S. (josephmichael.stonor@wsj.com)
