Rocket Lab (RKLB) said late Thursday it has acquired Precision Components in New Zealand, creating the Auckland Machine Complex to expand high-volume production for rockets and spacecraft parts.
Financial details weren't provided.
The facility will also back Electron rocket production and provide parts for Neutron, the company said, adding that when combined with its existing machining operations, the site will meet rising global demand while upholding rigorous quality standards, the company said.
