Iran Foreign Minister Says Countries Are Asking for Safe Passage Through Strait of Hormuz -- WSJ

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Sunday that a number of countries had approached Iran about getting safe passage for their vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. "I cannot mention any country in particular," he said on CBS News. "And this is up to our military to decide."

Araghchi said the Iranian military had already allowed a group of vessels from different countries to pass safely through the strait. He blamed the insecurity in the narrow waterway, through which about a fifth of the world's crude oil passes, on President Trump.
