2207 GMT - Australian stocks look set to stage a relief rally after U.S. equities finished higher on hopes of de-escalation in the Iran conflict. ASX futures are up by 1.8% ahead of Tuesday's session, suggesting that the S&P/ASX 200 will snap a run of three straight losses and bounce from a 10-month low. U.S. indices gained after President Trump said U.S. military would postpone strikes on Iranian power plants. The DJIA rose 1.4%, the S&P advanced 1.1%, and the Nasdaq Composite added 1.4%. While the broader market should rally, Australian oil stocks may come under pressure. Brent ended the session down 11% at a nearly two-week low. (stuart.condie@wsj.com)
