Financials Up as Private-Credit Fears Subside -- Financials Roundup

Shares of banks and other financial institutions rose as fears about private-credit issues subsided somewhat.

Shares of Blue Owl Capital, KKR, Blackstone and other Wall Street firms that specialize in pooling direct loans to corporations recouped some losses but remained deep in the red for the year to date.

The SPDR Select Sector Financial exchange-traded fund, which tracks the financial industry group of the S&P 500, remains about 10% in the red for the year to date.
