1138 GMT - Norwegian preliminary oil and gas production data for February is slightly supportive for Equinor's first-quarter production outlook, UBS analyst Henri Patricot writes. The Norwegian Offshore Directorate figures show total hydrocarbon production averaged 4.41 million barrels of oil equivalent a day, up 5.7% on year and 0.7% above the NOD's forecast. Liquids production of 2.18 million barrels a day was up 13% on year and above the NOD's forecast, while gas production of 9.9 billion cubic meters was down 0.4% on year and slightly below forecast. Equinor's net production represents around a third of Norwegian oil and gas production. On a gross basis, the fields that Equinor produces from make up nearly 80% of total Norwegian production.
