Israel Says It Struck Iran's Submarine Research Center -- WSJ

The Israeli air force said it had targeted an Iranian research centre responsible for developing submarines and unmanned marine vessels, part of a wave of strikes on the city of Isfahan.

Iran has 18 submarines according to the International Institute for Strategic Studies think tank. Most of them are small and designed for the shallow waters of the Persian Gulf. Iran also produced various models of unmanned vessels at the site, Israel said. Ukraine in particular has been successful producing sea drones able to strike at ships and ports, and like other countries, it has experimented with underwater drones.
