Cognyte Software shares were 14% higher, at $9, after the company said its fourth-quarter revenue rose, and it swung to a profit for the quarter.
The company also said it won a $5 million contract from a tier-1 U.S. law enforcement agency.
The packaged-software company said it had quarterly earnings of $5.1 million, or 5 cents a share, compared with a loss of $216,000, or 2 cents a share, in the same quarter last year.
Revenue for the quarter was $106.2 million, compared with last year's $94.5 million.
For 2027, the company is looking for revenue of $448 million, and adjusted earnings of 47 cents a share. Analysts polled by FactSet are expecting revenue of $442.6 million.
