Iran will continue to impose tolls on vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz, according to Mehr News Agency, a government-linked news outlet. "Countries not involved in this aggression can pass through the strait after the necessary coordination with the Iranian side to ensure the safe transit of their vessels," Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baqaei told India Today, according to the Mehr News Report. "Of course, Iran will continue to impose fees for the safe passage of ships through the strait."

His claim that Iran has been charging tolls to cross the strait couldn't be verified. Last week Iran's Parliament said it would consider taxing ships to cross the strait.
