Iranian Missile Lands Near Israel's Largest Power Station -- WSJ

A missile fired by Iran fell close to Israel's largest power station in the coastal city of Hadera, according to the Israeli military. The missile landed in an open area, an Israeli military official said, but didn't damage the power grid, Israel's national electricity company said.

Iranian state media described the strike as a warning to Israel that its missiles can hit anywhere.

The attack on the power station follows President Trump's decision to delay threatened strikes on Iran's energy infrastructure as a result of what he called productive talks to end the war. Iran has denied talks have taken place.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said last week that Israel agreed to a request from Trump to hold off on any more attacks on Iranian energy sites after Israel's air force struck a facility linked to Iran's South Pars gas field last week, triggering an attack by Iran on Qatar's energy sites.
