Beng Kuang Marine (SGX:BEZ) shares owned by the company's executive director and founder, Chua Meng Hua, attracted strong interest from institutional funds and reputable investors, according to a Wednesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
The transaction attracted interest from funds such as Amova Asset Management and Tokio Marine Life Insurance Singapore.
Meanwhile, the company's executive chairman, Chua Beng Yong and chief executive officer, Yong Jiunn Run acquired 578,286 shares and 500,000 shares respectively.
