Sri Trang Agro-Industry's Attributable Profit Falls in Q1

Sri Trang Agro-Industry's (SGX:NC2, BKK:STA) attributable profit to equity holders during Q1 dropped to 645.4 million baht from 688.7 million baht a year earlier, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Shares of the dual-listed manufacturer and distributor of natural rubber products were up over 2% in Monday trading.

Basic earnings per share attributable to equity holders stood at 0.42 baht compared with 0.45 baht in the year-ago period.

Revenue from sales of goods and services declined year over year to 26.8 billion baht from 34.4 billion baht.
