ComfortDelGro's Profit After Tax Drops 17% in Q1 Despite Higher Revenue

Multi-modal transport operator, ComfortDelGro's (SGX:C52) profit after tax during the first quarter of the year declined by 17% to SG$47.8 million from SG$57.7 million a year earlier, according to a Wednesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Revenue, however, rose 5% year over year to SG$1.23 billion from SG$1.17 billion, backed by contract renewals in London and increased fares in Singapore.
