Market Chatter: Anthropic to Give European Union Cybersecurity Agency Early Access to Mythos

Amazon.com-backed (AMZN) Anthropic will allow the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity to join Project Glasswing, giving the agency access to artificial intelligence tool Mythos ahead of its release, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Mythos is an AI tool capable of identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in operating systems and web browsers, Anthropic said in April.

Anthropic notified the European Commission over the weekend, the sources said.

Authorities in the US as well as American financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs (GS) were given early access, the report said. The UK's AI Security Institute was also allowed to test Mythos.

Anthropic and ENISA did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
