Salesforce Pledges $1 Billion to Expand in Italy in Coming Years

Salesforce said it would invest $1 billion over the next five years to expand in Italy.

The enterprise software group said it would spend the money to open a new office in Milan, hire more data scientists and artificial-intelligence engineers and launch training programs to promote the use of AI.

The company said its new hub would be at Palazzo Missori, in the heart of Milan.
