路透6月25日 - 香港政府统计处周四公布的数据显示，5月中国经香港的黄金净进口量较4月下降约38%，达到53.674公吨，低于4月份的86.715公吨。

作为全球最大的黄金消费国，中国的购买行为会影响全球黄金市场。

不过，由于中国也经由上海和北京进口黄金，经香港进口的黄金数据可能无法全面反映中国的黄金购买情况。

中国5月经香港进口的黄金总量为65.562吨，较4月的99.327吨下降约34%。

瑞银分析师Giovanni Staunovo表示：“鉴于近几个月中国直接进口已经非常强劲，从香港进口的必要性似乎有所降低。”
