Innoviz Technologies (INVZ) said Wednesday it is collaborating with national security platform Givon Defense to improve situational awareness and support counter-drone operations.

The collaboration will integrate Givon Defense's counter-UAS systems capabilities with Innoviz's LiDAR technology, the company said. Financial details were not provided.

Ongoing technology assessment activities by Givon showed that Innoviz's LiDAR products have the potential to provide accurate spatial information to enhance situational awareness to aerial threats, according to a statement.
