Singapore, South Korea Kick Off FTA Talks

Singapore and South Korea have kicked off their second round of free trade agreement (FTA) negotiations on Tuesday, according to a press release from South Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resource the same day.

The two sides have launched two-day talks in Seoul, exploring ways to expand ties with a focus on the supply chain, green economy, aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) sectors.

The FTA was implemented between the two countries in 2006.
