Trump noted that they likely have numerous other clients, but he is unaware of them. He wrote: "They are allowed to do work for others, just like all consultants in Washington, D.C. I do not have any idea who else they work for but will, on reflection, ask them and, if there’s a conflict, I will terminate them, immediately!"

Trump emphasized that the two are external advisors, not employees under his direct supervision. He thanked the public for their attention but provided no details on potential conflicts. The statement comes amid heightened scrutiny of campaign personnel backgrounds.
