U.S. President Donald Trump issued a statement on October 7, marking the third anniversary of the deadly attack on Israel. He called October 7, 2023, “one of the darkest and most evil days in the history of Israel,” and blamed Hamas terrorists for murdering, kidnapping, and subjecting innocent men, women, and children to unimaginable horrors.

“Today, we remember every innocent life taken, honor the survivors and their families, and remember the hostages who endured the unthinkable,” Trump said. He added, “I fought relentlessly to bring the hostages home, and reunite them with their loved ones, and I did, both the living and the dead!”

Trump concluded, “We will NEVER forget October 7th. We will NEVER forget the victims. And we will always stand against the forces of Terror and Evil.” The statement was signed “President DONALD J. TRUMP,” reiterating his commitment to remembering the victims and opposing terrorism.
