Trump's Truth Social latest posts10-09

President Donald Trump posted on social media platform X on October 8 that the United States will not attack Iran at any time prior to the midterm elections to be held on November 3rd, while emphasizing that the blockade against Iran will remain in full force.

Trump stated that the U.S. is having productive discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran. He noted that Iran is in very bad condition both economically and militarily, and that the blockade will remain in full force and effect. Despite record oil flows through the Hormuz Strait—22 million barrels in the past night alone—not one barrel came from or went to Iran.

Trump reiterated: "IRAN WILL NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON!" He made clear that the U.S. will not attack Iran before the midterm elections.
