On October 12, President Donald Trump posted on X to endorse Kansas Sen. Roger Marshall and criticize challenger Adam Hamilton.

Trump said he “WON BIG in 2016, 2020, and 2024” in Kansas and offered what he called a full endorsement of Marshall. “...has my Complete and Total Endorsement — HE ALWAYS HAS, AND HE ALWAYS WILL.” He also announced a rally plan: “I will be having a Kansas Style Rally, in Roger’s Honor, very soon.”

Defending Marshall over controversies tied to medical debt collection and court orders, Trump argued the senator was “mandated by Law” to request payments from patients and that any judge-ordered arrests for repeated failures to appear were matters of law, not Marshall’s actions. He labeled Hamilton a “Radical Left” opponent, said Hamilton donated to Kamala Harris, Joe Biden and Barack Obama, and criticized his positions on taxes, border policy, criminal justice, transgender issues, and athletics. Trump said Marshall is working in the U.S. Senate to “Champion our Great Farmers,” grow the economy, expand energy production, cut taxes and regulations, secure the border, support the military and veterans, defend the Second Amendment, and to pass the Credit Card Competition Act to address “Swipe Fee” costs.
