$Microsoft(MSFT)$ I am a long term holder of msft shares and I will never sell them until I retire. Why is that? Msft is a money printing machine and will continue to do so for years to come. They continue to grow revenues and income in double digits year after year and have high margins and return on equities.

The Return On Assets of MSFT (17.29%) is better than 97.49% of its industry peers.

MSFT's Return On Equity of 34.93% is amongst the best of the industry. MSFT outperforms 96.42% of its industry peers.

With an excellent Return On Invested Capital value of 23.01%, MSFT belongs to the best of the industry, outperforming 97.49% of the companies in the same industry.

Measured over the past 3 years, the Average Return On Invested Capital for MSFT is significantly above the industry average of 10.53%.

With an excellent Profit Margin value of 35.31%, MSFT belongs to the best of the industry, outperforming 97.49% of the companies in the same industry.

In the last couple of years the Profit Margin of MSFT has grown nicely.

MSFT has a Operating Margin of 43.55%. This is amongst the best in the industry. MSFT outperforms 100.00% of its industry peers.

In the last couple of years the Operating Margin of MSFT has grown nicely.

MSFT has a Gross Margin (69.44%) which is comparable to the rest of the industry.

Based on estimates for the next years, MSFT will show a quite strong growth in Earnings Per Share. The EPS will grow by 11.48% on average per year.

The Revenue is expected to grow by 12.29% on average over the next years.

However based on the technicals MSFT is over bought. There is a way for investors to take profits without selling any shares. How is that possible? By using options. If you own 100 shares of MSFT you can sell a covered call and earn income on the shares you own. But what if you don't have 100 shares? You can sell a call spread. You can sell a way out of the money call and buy another call above that strike to protect. Or in my case I bought a put option expiring In December 15 and I will take profits when the RSI is no longer in over bought territory.

Do note the risks of trading options. Never sell a naked call if you don't own 100 shares. If you buy a put the most you can lose is what you pay for the put contract. Hope this was helpful. Please like and share if you learned anything from this.

All the best for your investments ❤️

$39 per person per month to use an AI application. Calculate yearly worldwide, MSFT rakes in multi-billions revenue from one AI application alone. MSFT is under-valued, thus, rises up sharply by year end
