Hey, I've been thinking about saving for my child's education. I've been looking into index funds and it seems like a good option. I calculated that if I start investing $500 now, assuming a 5% annual return, I could potentially reach my goal of $65,000 in about 18 years. Of course, this is just an estimate, and I'll need to keep an eye on my savings and adjust as needed.

Hi, you can consider investing in S&P 500 (SPY) cos it gives 10% ROI per year or Nasdaq (QQQ) for 17% ROI per year. Say you invest $200 per month based on 10%, this will be your returns after 18 years

Welcome. I’ll invest $100 in SPY & $100 in QQQ for the long term. Best to start with their CNY red packet. FYI, I’m investing using CPF OA with Endowus tracking S&P 500 cos ROI better than 2.5% as illustrated. All the best!
