Tariffs on pharma just don't work.  

If you have a life threatening condition,  then you need the best drug to treat it and will pay 25% extra. 

For generics, you won't pay extra but then you have shortages because your contracts are canceled or the manufacturer goes out of business. 

So consumers pay or insurance premiums go up. Its an extra tax on Americans but I'm sure they will try to blame everyone else.
