The first quarter of 2025 has been a rollercoaster! Tech stocks took a hit, with the Nasdaq tumbling over 7% as heavyweights like Nvidia, Apple, and Google pulled back, shaking up the dominance of the “Magnificent Seven.” Meanwhile, Hong Kong stocks made a stunning comeback—the Hang Seng Index surged 17.44%, and the Hang Seng Tech Index skyrocketed nearly 25%, driven by strong performances from Tencent, Alibaba, Xiaomi, and SMIC.

As the quarter comes to a close, it’s time to reflect on your trading journey. Did you lock in big wins, or was it a rough ride? Share your experiences and insights with the community!

Had a little profit in Q1. Did some trading on strong stocks with high volatility and dividend payout.

I would buy good companies at discounted price, for example $Microsoft(MSFT)$. Despite market uncertainty, it's essential products like Windows, Office, Azure remained a global demand in both personal and business operations

I bought mainly HK stocks so I’m happy! I bought mixue and mao Geping. As with the usual HK stocks, it is volatile. So, I have been mainly trading them to get profits. I think it is my experience from the past that it is better to have smaller profits than to be stuck with it. I will only buy stocks that I believe will do well in the longer term and seek to buy them at the appropriate price before selling them off to take profit. This will be my strategy in Q2 as well. The more volatile it is, the better it is to swing trade. The underlying important thing is still to only buy good companies that I do not mind holding. @SPOT_ON @Fenger1188 @Wayneqq @Kaixiang @HelenJanet @rL @Universe宇宙 @Success88 @DiAngel come join

🌟🌟🌟There is Mayhem in March as President Donald Trump's Trade Tariff is like Superman's Kryptonite to Stocks.  However my favourite Singapore Bank DBS $DBS Group Holdings(D05.SI)$

sails through the stormy seas with strength and power!   DBS is South East Asia's largest bank and one of the largest in Asia with Assets Under Management of SGD 132.19 Billion.  DBS has rewarded me well with generous dividends as well as capital appreciation.  As the  new CEO Tan Su Shan takes over from Piyush Gupta, DBS will continue to navigate through unchartered waters with confidence and optimism to power DBS to new heights of success and prosperity for all investors.

Go Long Go Strong Go DBS! 🥰🥰🥰🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬🌈🌈🌈💰💰💰
