Over longer periods, the effects of daily rebalancing and compounding can cause them to stray from their intended performance, particularly if the market is flat or volatile. Additionally, I'm cautious about holding them overnight due to the lower liquidity in the overnight market compared to regular trading hours. When the price moved enough for a potential profit, I took the opportunity to sell.
