Editor's notes:

A dividend-paying stock ex-dividend date, or ex-date, is very important to investors. In a nutshell, if you buy a dividend stock before the ex-dividend date, then you will receive the next upcoming dividend payment.

If you purchase the stock on or after the ex-dividend date, you will not receive the dividend. Some investors utilize strategies whereby they will purchase stocks just prior to an ex-dividend date and sell shortly thereafter.

YTD25 of the Above 10 Stocks are as Below:

TradingView data from 2025 indicates that the stock prices of $Pilgrims Pride(PPC)$ , $Essex Property(ESS)$ , $Air Products & Chemicals(APD)$ , $Deere(DE)$ , and $EastGroup Properties(EGP)$ experienced an upward trend, whereas those of Innovative Industrial Properties, Inc. (IIPR), AvalonBay Communities, Inc. (AVB), Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. (MPWR), Illinois Tool Works Inc. (ITW), and Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. (ARE) saw a decline.

Pilgrim's Pride Corporation $Pilgrims Pride(PPC)$   is one of the largest poultry producers in the world, supplying chicken products to retail, food service, and industrial markets. As a subsidiary of JBS S.A., a global leader in protein production, PPC benefits from strong industry positioning and operational efficiencies. The company has a diverse customer base, including major restaurant chains and grocery stores, ensuring steady demand for its products. With a focus on sustainability and innovation, PPC continues to expand its global footprint, particularly in regions like Europe and Mexico.

Investing in PPC stock offers several advantages. First, the company operates in a relatively stable industry, as demand for poultry remains consistent due to its affordability and popularity. Additionally, PPC has been able to maintain profitability through cost-cutting initiatives, vertical integration, and automation, improving its margins even in challenging market conditions. As consumer preferences shift toward healthier protein sources, PPC is well-positioned to benefit from the growing demand for chicken over red meat.

Another key advantage is the company's potential for long-term growth. With ongoing expansion efforts and strategic acquisitions, PPC continues to strengthen its market share. The company's focus on sustainability, such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving animal welfare, also makes it attractive to ESG-conscious investors. Furthermore, as part of JBS, PPC gains access to financial resources and industry expertise that enhance its competitive edge. For investors looking for exposure to the food production industry with solid fundamentals, PPC presents a compelling opportunity.

chicken and pork are cheapest meat protein. when the consumer runs out of money they will still buy this over more expensive choices.
    • Venus Reade
PPC's stock is way undervalued compared to the other company's stock value.
