$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ 's stock surged 18% on Wednesday. The most traded calls are contracts of $105 strike price that expire on Apr 11 and the total volume reaching 248,826 with the open interest of 125,082.
After a dinner at Mar-a-Lago, the White House decided to pause its plan to block exports of Nvidia's H20 chips, according to two people who know about the decision but aren't allowed to speak publicly.
The restrictions had been in the works for months and were almost ready to be announced, possibly this week.
But the White House changed its mind after Nvidia promised to invest in new AI data centers in the U.S., one of the sources said.
