Options Market Statistics: AMD Stock Falls on Tariff Worries
$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ 's stock fell 8% on Thursday. The most traded puts are contracts of $30 strike price that expire on Jun 20 and the total volume reaching 35,039 with the open interest of 1,495.
AMD's stock jumped yesterday after Trump said there would be a 90-day pause on tariffs for countries other than China. But today, the stock fell back after the White House explained that the 125% tariff Trump mentioned would be added on top of an existing 20% tax on Chinese goods.
Also, on top of the trade worries, investors are also nervous since its supply depends on $Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ .
