$Intel(INTC)$ “Trump denies tariff exception for electronics, says 20% rate still applies.” Isn’t this the biggest possible catalyst for Intel? It would force companies like Apple—who rely heavily on chip manufacturing—to bring their orders back to the U.S. TSMC would have no choice but to rapidly build out its manufacturing supply chain in America, and its only viable partner here would be Intel.
