Ah, finally an excuse for Elon Musk to blame someone else (in this case China directly and Trump indirectly). Matter of truth is, his "affordable, new models" are just cheaper Model 3 and Y. The Cybercab is a geofenced, tele-operated trial and not full self-driving or anywhere close to fully autonomous by level 5 (SAE), meaning anywhere and anytime (and takingf financial responsibilities). It's still a level 2 ADAS system like Toyota and all the other manufacturers have.

Semi production was supposed to be in the thousands last year, cost is exploding and customer are canceling their orders and buying Mercedes and other EV Semi's instead.
