Tesla Range-Bound or Ready to Run? Key Levels to Watch

In my earlier article on Tesla, I mentioned that support around $215. Price staged a rebound at this level and has moved towards $285 now. This article explores whether the current level offers an opportunity.

Technical Analysis: Tesla ( $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ )

  • TSLA is currently testing a resistance zone between 285 and 300, an area where price has struggled previously.

  • Price is still capped by downward-sloping moving averages, suggesting the broader downtrend remains intact for now.

  • The latest candle is a doji, signaling indecision — especially significant when it forms near a resistance zone, as it may indicate potential reversal or consolidation.

  • If TSLA fails to break above $300, price may trade sideways or pull back, forming a range-bound setup.

  • A decisive breakout above $300 with volume would be a short-term bullish signal, possibly reversing current resistance pressure.

Using DLCs for Short-Term Trading

  • If price breaks above 300 with strong momentum, long DLCs (e.g. $TESLA 3xLongSG261006(TSYW.SI)$ ) may benefit from short-term upside.

  • If price gets rejected at the 285–300 resistance or starts to pull back, short DLCs ( $TESLA 3xShortSG261006(TSXW.SI)$ ) (leveraged short) may offer short-term trading opportunities.

  • Traders should manage risk, as leverage magnifies both gains and losses.

1 Trln Pay Package Approved! Tesla Sell the News: Hold for Long Term?
On November 6, more than 75% of shareholders voted in favor of Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s new compensation package. Under the plan, if Musk meets a series of milestones over the next ten years, he will gradually receive about 423.7 million restricted stock units (RSUs) — up to USD 1 trillion. Can Musk realistically hit these ambitious milestones in the next decade? Will this massive pay package truly align Tesla’s growth with shareholder interests After the approval, is Tesla a “sell the news” trade — or a long-term conviction hold?
