Options Market Statistics: SoFi Technologies Shares See Volatility Ahead of Earnings; Options Pop
$SoFi Technologies Inc.(SOFI)$ shares rose 2% on Monday. The most traded calls are contracts of $15 strike price that expire on May 16 and the total volume reaching 168,645 with the open interest of 20,532.
SoFi Technologies will report its first-quarter results before the stock market opens on Tuesday. Investors are mainly watching how SoFi's student loan business is growing, which has helped push the stock higher recently.
At the same time, the Department of Education will start collecting payments again on defaulted federal student loans next month. These collections had been paused since March 2020 because of the pandemic.
