📈 Palantir at $148 — Buy the Dip or Sell the Hype?

It took Palantir $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$  three years to break out of the $30s — and just six months to climb above $140. We’re now sitting near all-time highs, up 79% YTD, with volatility finally cooling after a red-hot rally.

So the real question: Is there still juice in this move — or are we looking at the top?

🎯 From Overlooked to Overheated?

I remember when Palantir was a $9 story buried in Reddit threads. Now, everyone’s talking about it. And with good reason.

This isn’t just another AI stock riding the hype wave. Palantir has real contracts, real cash flow, and a product moat around defense and critical infrastructure. Their AIP platform is finding new traction in commercial markets, and they continue to lock in government deals at scale.

But here's the catch: Valuation has run far ahead of fundamentals. At current levels, PLTR is trading well above consensus analyst targets, and price-to-sales metrics are flashing red compared to historical averages.

> Palantir isn't just selling AI — it's selling decision-making at scale.

And that's valuable. But is it worth paying this kind of premium today?

💡 Still a Buy? Or Getting Crowded?

Momentum is still strong. Technicals show resilience even after the recent dip. But the margin of safety for new buyers is shrinking — fast.

Here's how I see it:

Bull case: Government tailwinds + AI adoption = secular multi-year story

Bear case: Valuation peak + momentum unwind = painful drawdown potential

In my view, Palantir is still a long-term buy — but not a chase. I’d prefer to add on dips toward $125–130, where risk/reward looks cleaner.

🧠 My Position: Holding, Not Chasing

I've held PLTR since $22 and averaged up into the $60–70 range during late 2023. I’m up big — but not taking full profits yet. If it convincingly breaks $150 and rides higher on another strong earnings report, I’ll likely trim 15–20% to lock in gains.

Why? Because I’ve seen this movie before. When sentiment goes vertical, discipline matters more than conviction. I want to stay long — but also smart.

🙋 Your Turn — Breakout or Blow-Off?

What's your personal PT for PLTR — $180? $100?

Would you dare to start a new position at this level?

Palantir Secures £1.5B UK Deal: Up 134% YTD! Still Room to Run?
UK will significantly increase purchases of Palantir Technologies (PLTR) data analytics software, with the U.K. military committing over $1 billion over five years, extending an earlier deal, according to Bloomberg. Following the news, Palantir shares rose 5.1% to close at $176.97. Year-to-date, the stock is up about 134% in 2025, though it remains below its all-time high of $190 on August 12. 👉 With continued government adoption and long-term contracts, could Palantir sustain its strong 2025 rally, or is a consolidation phase likely?

It's wise to consider scaling in at lower levels. Waiting for that dip could save you some risk

I'm with you on this—patience is key. New buyers should wait for a dip to minimize risk.
