The Andreas Martinos-led outfit, which has been growing its fleet with secondhand boxships, has made provisional orders at two shipyards in China for up to eight 1,800-teu newbuildings, according to shipping players.

It is said to have booked two firm vessels at Yangzijiang Shipbuilding and Huanghai Shipbuilding, plus an option for an additional two ships at each yard.
