Option Strategies: SOFI, HUM, UPS& PYPL

Selling For Premium
07-28

Hello everyone! Today i want to share some option strategies with you!

1.

To write puts or not write puts on $PayPal(PYPL)$ for earnings this week. That is the optionselling question.

- Expected move is ~7%

- Lots of OI at the 70 put strike, possibly acting as a put wall

- Will probs target a put strike in the 65-70 range, Aug 1 expiry

- If we strangle the trade, it will be the 95 naked call strike, Aug 1 expiry

WOW! $United Parcel Service Inc(UPS)$ back to covid lows heading into earnings this week. Not sure if we want to play this one or not. Would be looking at #Optionselling this trade:

- Aug 1 expiry, 90 strike put

- If we strangle this trade, it would be the 125 call strike, Aug 1 expiry.

3.

Am looking at put-write trades on $Humana(HUM)$ at the 210 strike Aug 1 expiry. Am also looking at farther-out DTE trades at the 180 put strike (that level not seen since 2016).

Will adjust as necessary on Tuesday this week. Expected move is 7.5% (subject to change leading up to earnings day).

4.

$SoFi Technologies Inc.(SOFI)$ has had a steep move up. Looks primed for a dump, but also looks to be building some support at the 21 level ... potentially setting up a new launching pad. Volume support in the 14-16 range. ATH is at 28 and not much overhead resistance between current price and ATH.

Thinking of taking the following trades:

- Write (aka sell) the Aug 1 expiry $15 of $16 strike puts.

- Buy Aug 15 $30 lotto calls.
