Gold at USD 5000? Silver Steals Spotlight

🌟🌟🌟2025 has been a year of precious surprises.  Silver surged to fresh all time highs , outpacing Gold , while Gold itself has entered rebound mode.  Institutions now whisper a bold target : USD 5000 by 2026.

For me, the conviction has already paid off.  My position in $iShares Gold Trust(IAU)$  is up 75% while in $iShares Silver Trust(SLV)$  I am up 94%.  This is proof that patience and belief in Gold and Silver can shine brighter than any headline.

Gold is the anchor: Safe haven in troubled times .  Gold has stability, resilience and the promise of compounding magic.

Silver is the sprinter:  It is volatile , dazzling and right now it is stealing the show with record highs.  Silver is the workhouse metal powering our modern world.  From solar panels to electric vehicles , medical devices to semiconductors, Silver is everywhere .  Right now , Silver is in short supply.

That scarcity is why Silver has surged to fresh all time highs, even outpacing Gold.

Can Gold return to its previous high by year end?  The charts suggest it is possible.

But the deeper truth is this : whether Gold or Silver , the real win is conviction.  Growth comes from planting seeds, stability comes from holding through storms and conviction is the spark that turns doubt into legacy.

While Silver may be sprinting ahead , I am still happy that both my Gold and Silver ETFs have compounded in growth.

Bullish on Gold or Silver?  Why not both?  In 2026 Gold and Silver will continue their climb upwards .  Together they remind us that while the markets may wobble , $iShares Gold Trust(IAU)$  and $iShares Silver Trust(SLV)$  are resilient ETFs to buy and hold long term as tactical plays against inflation , geopolitical storms and safe haven assets.

Silver New High at $66: Gold Starts a Catch-Up Rally?
Silver has broken above $66, while gold has rallied to around $4,350, bringing it within reach of its historical high. ANZ suggests that a deterioration in global growth could push gold toward $5,000 per ounce in 2026, while a stronger US growth outlook, a firmer dollar, or a more hawkish Fed could see prices retreat toward $3,500. What's the driver for gold prices over the next 12 months? Do you view silver & gold's recent strength? Will silver continue to outperform gold? Will gold hit $5000 in 2026?
