$CRITICAL METALS CORPORATION(CRML)$ It has been some time since I have shared this mining company. If you followed my posts, you might recall a crying đ photo attached to one of them.
CRML, in its last run, climbed from under $10 to around $32 within weeks! I had sold a couple of call options then. I still remember the share price climb accelerated in its last week, running from less than $20 to $32 within a week! As I had sold calls for all my holdings in đŻ, I could only watch the price shot into-the-money and then dropped all the way down to below $20 in that week alone. I was not able to take profit near its high point, I was also not able to prevent some of my principal from being called away at a lower price.
Eventually, I made peace with myself. It was a great option lesson and I had shared it with the readers.
Back to today, CRML is a miner that test the patience of investors. There are obviously speculative value attached to it. When all is peace and quiet, this speculative premium was thrown out of the window. That explains the big drop in shares price for the past month.
If you don't know why CRML has been rising in the past week, you probably have not followed the news. CRML is a rare earth minerals miner located in Greenland đŹđą. Greenland, Venezuela đťđŞ, Donald Trump, critical minerals, daylight robbery. Hopefully this rang a bell đ!? If not, the attached picture below might help.
Chart view: after hitting a double bottom, the shares price rebounded. The target đŻ price was reached in pre-market today. RSI indicator shows overbought position. Having said that, MACD indicator is moving nicely into positive position. I won't rush to sell even if it's overbought. Overbought indicator doesn't imply correction will take place. It just means that correction will happen in the future. It could be consolidation rather than correction, as likely suggested by MACD indicator.
What am I doing?
Sell call options again? [Tongue] I did that last week. I might do that again. What I had learned was to be very patient and only do very short options positioning. Price fluctuations are expected to be volatile, even 1-2 days option could reap great outcome!
To wrap up, CRML is no longer what it was in the last run. Over the months, the rare earth minerals miner has moved into the position to kickstart mining in a couple of months. It is no longer a mere speculative investment. It has also completed most offtake agreements with different parties. Whether it will be the next $MP Materials Corp.(MP)$ on the other hand, is your guess as good as mine. I only know that given its vast resources, it needs not be the next MP to do well in the long run.
