Circle $10B Revenue at Risk? Is it Oversold Due to Clarity Act?
Stablecoin giant Circle saw its stock plunge, marking its largest single-day drop on record, following a revised version of the proposed U.S. Clarity Act.
The bill suggests restricting stablecoin issuers from earning returns on their reserve assets. Since Circle’s primary profit source comes from interest income on USDC reserves, the market fears that its core business model is under threat.
