Tesla Raises Model Y Prices: Can Margin Offset Delivery Pressure?
Tesla has raised prices for the Model Y lineup in the U.S. market, marking the first price increase for the model in two years. The last broad-based Model Y price hike took place in 2024, when prices across all Model Y variants were increased by $1,000. Data released on April 2 showed that Tesla delivered 358,023 vehicles globally in Q1 2026, up 6.3% YoY, but still below expectations of 372,000 units.
